Summer Learning Journey - Colouring art

Hi welcome to my blog post.  Today we started the Summer Learning Journey.  One of the activities we could do was colouring in a picture from  this site.  I chose to do a watermelon  it took 2 minutes to do it.  Do you like the colours on it?

Athletics

Yesterday in the afternoon we lined up in year to 4 5 6.  The teacher said we are going to do athletics so the teacher told us where we were going to start  1st round  we did long jump did long. Then we did the 2 round and it was discus. Then we went to a next one it was  running around the whole block.  Then we went to class and then the Bell Rings.

Buddy Class

 One day my classroom Room 10 went to room 5 and 4 and my teacher told us to take off our shoes by the door. We went into the  classroom and we find our buddy. My buddy was Lachie.  Mrs Carey read everyone the story about The Hissing Bush and we were given 2 pieces paper - one to draw a picture of what we thought what was in the bush and one to write a new story on.   Lachie thought a baby would be in the bush.

winter learning journey

 Hi welcome to this weeks blog.

The teacher said to me and Room 10 that we can go on the winter learning journey. I went on the site and I went on the Lesson 20. I had to find the girl called Tigress. It was so fun and then our teacher told us to close our Chromebooks and  pack up and get our lunch box.

                                                     

                                                

Topic

 Hi Room 10 has being doing paper mache and we started the paper mache last week. It was made out of wire and I stabbed myself with the wire. We asked Miss Scott if she can help me make a kea out of the wire and then she build it and we had some newspaper on.  Me and Moira put some newspaper on our bird and then we finished with newspaper couple Layers  or white paper. It  dried in our classroom for the next Day and we put some more white papers on it.  The next day and we painted our kea.

Hi we went to the library on the 2/7/2021 and the day is Friday and we all got to pick a book here is it.

                                                   

water park writing

 Hi last week we made are writing about the waterpark and my teacher was proud of me and i was to and i was the first one to be finished and clear was proud of me to and my and my friends was to and i was very very happy of myself.

Water Park

Hey everyone, Today I will be telling you about my water park writing. Here are the things we needed to do:

1. Make sure you are using present tense,

2. Use your five senses. ( feel, taste, hear, see and smell)

3. Make sure you put in paragraphs.

Here is my story, I hope you like it.

I can smell the hot dogs as I am walking through the water park and I can see the pink water slide. I can hear children stomping their feet all around the place and I can taste vanilla ice cream and this. movie and .  

I can feel the ground is hot on my feet and it was burning my feet. The water slide looks so  cool so I want to have a try. I have a try and it is fun to make all the water slides.

As I was having a picnic with my mum and we have pancakes with maple syrup and it taste like a dream come true and after my tummy got risk I win on a water slide what's the water Blooms what you want to do and I went down the waterslide and I screams and I went on a next water slide and it is so fun after that's life I win on another one and it was fun too bet I went in the pool and it is deep and i am go to get frozen drink and the drink is so good .

Cloze

 Hello and welcome to my amazing blog. We have been doing cloze last term and this term.

Cross Country

 Hi today I am blogging about Cross Country. We went to Halswell Quarry for the zones race. It was a long cross-country race and I fell over and I just kept on going. I came 27th place. I came back to school with Love and Alysha and Miss Scott said we can go inside and relax. Thank you for listening to me, bye.

How to make a hot chocolate

 

How to make a hot chocolate

You will need

cup 

teaspoon 

milk 

hot chocolate powder 

marshmallows                                            

Jug

Water

Steps

1. Boil the Jug

2. Put two teaspoons of hot chocolate powder in the cup 

3. Put in a hot water in the cup to half way

4. Stir it

5. Put enough milk in  the cup to nearly fill it to the top

6. Stir it again

7. Put the two marshmallows on the top

8. Drink and enjoy.

Holiday

Hi bloggers. On my holidays I went to my auntie mara's and we went to drop off Rj and Aprill, my cousins, and then we went to my School, Hornby Primary School, and played on the playground. 

After we went home and then we went and my mum's home to get Khyran's suitcase. Me, Khyran, Aprill and Rj went to sleep. Then I went to my mum's home and then we went to go see dad. We had chicken nuggets for dinner. Then and we went to go to sleep and then when I woke up the next morning it was School.

Easter

Hi. On Easter I was at my auntie's house and I got Easter eggs and we got one big Easter egg and some small ones. We had a fun easter egg hunt and I got heaps of chocalate but I didnt share with my brother. After we went to my aunties house, we went back home tired. After my sister drove me home I was tired but I had to wait in my room with my brother. And then we got to wait for Mum to go home and then we got to go out of the bedroom and we got to find the Easter eggs and I found most of them.

 Hi blogger today on Thursday people from the  dog company came to our school.  They asked about the dog and what you gonna do with the dogs. They might bite you and it will be sore. He told us about the dogs and you shouldn't annoy them.

Buddy Class

 Hi on Friday we went to buddy class and we sat down in room 3. Then the teacher told us to go into room 4 and everyone sits down. The teacher tells us to help our buddy to put on their shoes  and after we help put the shoes on our buddy we went to go outside.  I was in the first group with my buddy and we threw bean bags into the hoop, we also did the three legged race and then I fell over. Buddy class

On Friday we had buddy class and we did an about me and a about my buddy sheet. After the session Miss Frost said to everyone to pack up and everyone packed up and we went on the Mat and it was morning tea time and Miss Frost told us to say bye to our buddy and Miss Frost said thank you to us and Our teacher Miss Scott told us to run to our class room and eat our morning tea.
